In exercise I was asked to take the same image at different shutter speeds, from the slowest to the fastest. Here is my selection.
Lady and 2 dogs
This is an individual image I took on Aberdeen beach on 1.1.2012.
Image 3509, ISO100, 1/10 second, f32, 250mm lens
I saw the lady approaching some way off and had tome to set the camera. My chosen focal point where the rocks in front and also want to get the distant boats into the picture. I used f32 to get as much depth of field as possible. The 1/10 second exposure gave the blur effect of the lady and dogs. I slightly cropped the picture to centre it.

Image 3502, ISO3200, 1/4000 second, f6.3, 250mm lense
The fast shutterspeed and high ISO freezes the movement of the water droplets and the flowing water.
Image 3501, ISO400, f5.6, 1/800 second
The image is getting blurred
Image 3500, ISO100, 1/200, f5.6
More blurring
Image 3499, ISO100,1/6second, f32,
The turbulent water is starting to look smoother
Stormy weather, Johnshaven
Images taken on 3.1.2012
Image 3544, ISO100,1/4second, f29 Only the distant cliffs remain sharp, well sort of. The horison is blurred as are the seaspray, distant boat and waves.
Image 3546, ISO320, 1/320 second, f5.6
The cliffs remain sharp, some waves and spray become sharper. The distant seaspray blurres the horizon, even hiding parts of the boat. Even though the camera was on a tripod, it was shaking.
